So here we are, my sweet boy..... one year since I last got to hear your voice. It was evening and I was reading by the fire. You came up from downstairs to tell me you were leaving. Not knowing it would be our last conversation, we talked briefly, you gave me a hug...... and said "O.K. Aunt Teresa, I'll see you in a few days.... I love you." My heart holds you, everyday. There are sometimes people who come into your life and you feel like you instantly recognize them- you feel comfortable around them and you see a kindred spirit. So it was with Timbo-Timmy- Little Tim... He's been a regular fixture in our lives for so long now that I can't imagine he won't be here greeting the dogs, giving me a big hug, and chatting about this and that. Losing him hurts so much- he was just kind of extra special to me. The good news is that I'll never get over it- there will always be a special place in my heart that is only for Timmy.
