I am so sorry I didn't hear of Kitty's passing until last week. I am an ex-neighbor of Kitty's in Mt. Airy. I always enjoyed knowing Kitty, altho it was short. I moved away from Mt. Airy in 2014, and never forgot what a nice person Kitty was and how lively she was as she walked around our street. She and Clyde were a wonderful addition to our Merry Go Round Way-neighborhood. I also enjoyed meeting her family who helped others in the neighborhood. God is surely with your family and will always be with you. My love and sympathy at this sad time.

Danny, Pam and family, I loved the Crowns like family growing up. Marvin and I were three more than we were home. They made me feel safe and always welcome. Kitty was the kindest woman I think I have known in my life. She and Ms Forrest Crown gave Teeny and I our first living room furniture when we started out. My love and sadness for your loss I send, knowing you will carry on the values mom and dad instilled in you. What a blessed family, with love Aunt Margie

My sympathy to you upon the loss of your Mother. I did not realize that I had students whose parents were in their nineties! Well ,I am not too far behind at 85 .
I think of you and Kenny when I pass the Crown Farm . ( Not a farm anymore)
