Shirley Suddath Wolford, age 89 passed away peacefully at her home of 63 years in Rockville.
Shirley grew up with her 2 sisters, Margaret Poole and Maxine Ward and 2 brothers, Donald Suddath and Bill Suddath in Rockville and remained there her entire life.
She married Joseph (Winnie) Wolford, they were married for 56 years until his death in 2008. Together they raised 6 children; Debbie McConoughey (Skip), Gary Wolford (Beth), David Wolford (Liz), Donna Bewley (Jim), April Sartwell (Pat) and Alice Calloway (Bill), 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren. Besides being a devoted wife, mother and Meme, she was a strong and loving woman. She was always welcoming and loved to feed people, which is why we always had a full house. She owned her own successful mailing business for over 10 years before retiring. May she rest in peace knowing that she touched the lives of many.

A celebration of life will be at a later date. She will be missed by all who knew her.
