Paula Ann Moxley, 67, of Damascus, Maryland passed away peacefully Thursday, December 15, 2022 at University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore, Maryland surrounded by family.

She was born January 9, 1955 in Olney, Maryland. Paula was the daughter of the late Walter Richard and Esther Virginia Souder.

Paula was preceded in death by husband Pat. She is survived by sons Richard of Ranson, West Virginia and Brent (Laura) of Damascus, Maryland; grandchildren, Jack and Sarah; great-grandsons, Lucas and Sylas; brother Wayne (Judy); and sister Vickie. She is lovingly remembered by Rachel Moxley and April Martin. Paula was preceded in death by brother Dickie Souder, brother in-law Steve Shortt, and sister in-law V. Lynn Norwood. She is also remembered by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and numerous close friends.

Paula worked with her husband Pat as vice president and co-owner of Robert R. Moxley & sons.

Paula loved traveling with friends and family, and usually wound up vacationing close to a body of water. She loved watching live music and was always looking for the next show by her favorite artists. The next casino to visit around the country was always in the back of her mind as well.

To friends and family she was a Mom, Grandma, GiGi, Aunt Paula and Ms. Paula.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Molesworth-Williams P.A. Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872.

The funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Montgomery United Methodist Cemetery in Damascus.  A luncheon will follow at Damascus American Legion Post 171, 10201 Lewis Drive, Damascus, Maryland 20872.
