Orbin Collins, Jr.

Mr. Orbin Collins, Jr., age 102, of Inwood, West Virginia, died Tuesday, May 6, 2026, at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg. He was husband of the late Bernice O. Collins.
Born January 21, 1924 in Norton, Virginia he was a son of the late Orban, Sr, and Jennie Horton Collins.
Orbin went into the U.S. Army at age 17, when he was discharged, he moved to Maryland where he married his wife, Bernice Baugher. They had six children.
Surviving him are four children: Austin Collins, Donald Collins and Floyd Collins, and a daughter Cindy Hamilton, fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two daughters Bonnie Jefferson, Wanda Short, three grandchildren, four sisters and a brother.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday May 14 at The Hopewell Mennonite Church, 14910 Harrisville Road, Mount Airy, Maryland 21771
From 10 a.m. until funeral services begin at 11:00. Rev. Mark Torkelson will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
