Michael B. Einhorn Obituary

Michael Bennett Einhorn, of 58, of Germantown, Md., passed away on  Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Michael was born September 9, 1967, in Coshocton, Ohio, to his loving parents, Robert and Alice Einhorn. He is survived by his sisters Marilyn (Daniel) Price and Marlene (Adam) Varneke and his nephew Liam Varneke.

Michael was certainly surrounded by love as a client with SEEC (Seeking Employment, Equality and Community), a nonprofit agency dedicated to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live, work and thrive in their communities- and thrive he did. Through the amazing support of the dedicated and expert SEEC team, Michael was cared for with compassion and dignity while continually being given opportunities to grow as an individual and valued member of society. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all the caregivers and staff at SEEC for their extraordinary care and unwavering dedication.

Michael had a great smile, a unique and joyful laugh, and big beautiful brown eyes that reflected his gentle spirit. He found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He loved outdoor activities, especially walks in the park and spending time by the lakeside. He enjoyed swimming and playing basketball, riding in his van, and calling out “stop light” whenever one appeared. Whenever Michael saw a train, he would excitedly point and joyfully shout, “choo choo train”- in fact, he loved saying “choo choo train” anytime he could. Michael delighted in watching Disney shows and never turned down the occasional chocolate milkshake.

Michael will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His life was a testament to joy, resilience and the power of unconditional love.
