Michael Allen Day, age 59, of Ijamsville, Maryland
1964-2023
Michael you captured my heart the very first time we danced. A year and a half later we were together forever. We purposely left death out of our vows that day. How I wish death had not torn you from me so soon.
You were born on July 10th, 1964, and I'm told you were a handful from the moment you entered the world. In the pre-dawn hours of September 3rd, 2023, you were taken unexpectedly from us in your sleep.
You lived your entire life on the farm where you were raised. You loved that you spent time with your grandfather and father every day growing up. You worked outdoors with your hands your whole life. You loved teasing everyone, football and basketball, fishing, the beach, watching shows about how things are made or BBQ competitions, our kids and me.
I hope you are laughing in heaven with your Dad Robert, both sets of grandparents, your aunt, uncle, and your cousins who preceded you in death. I know they are happy to have you back with them.
You will always be in the hearts of those you left behind. Your wife of 28 years Cara, your beautiful children Daron and Siobhan, your mother Rosie, your sister Terry and husband, your brother Doug and wife, aunts and uncles from both sides of your family, nieces, nephews, and countless cousins will all miss you terribly.
We will have a celebration of your life on Oct 1st, 2023, at 1 pm in Shelter #3 at Urbana District Park
3805 Urbana Pike
Frederick, MD. 21704
where your family and friends can gather to share stories in remembrance of you. Food, including your favorite BBQ, will be provided.
I'll love you until we meet again,
Cara
