Maryellen B. Holston Obituary

Maryellen Bovey Holston, 88, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025, at Ridge Overlook Nursing Home in Westminster, Maryland. Born on February 19, 1937, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, Maryellen lived a long and meaningful life marked by love, resilience, and deep devotion to her family.
She was married to the love of her life, Charles R. Holston, for 60 wonderful years. Their marriage was a beautiful testament to partnership, loyalty, and enduring love. Charles preceded her in death on December 26, 2018, and she carried his memory with her always.
Maryellen dedicated over 20 years of service to State Farm, where she was known for her strong work ethic, professionalism, and the kindness she extended to coworkers and clients alike. Her commitment and steady presence left a lasting impression on those she worked with.
Maryellen was one of nine siblings, all of whom have preceded her in death. She cherished the memories she shared with her brothers and sisters and held them close to her heart throughout her life.
She is survived by her beloved children: her son, Larry Holston, and his wife, Darci, and her daughter, Tami Everitt, and her husband, Todd Everitt. She was immensely proud of her children and the families they built.

She leaves behind a cherished legacy in her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy:
- Heidi Troxel and her significant other, Joey
- Brian Everitt and his partner, Gray
- Kayla Holston and her fiance, Kyle
- Kathryn Everitt and her significant other, DJ
- Victoria Holston and her significant other, Tony
Maryellen was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Kolby, Brooklyn, Lane, Emma Jo, Landon, Jameson, and Charlie. Each held a special place in her heart and brightened her days with their laughter and energy.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her quiet strength, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her kindness, compassion, and steady presence touched the lives of all who knew and loved her.
