Mary Jane Watkins, age 85, of Cedar Grove, Maryland passed away from this life Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Brooke Grove Rehabilitation Center, Sandy Spring, Maryland.  She was the wife of the late Maynard D. Watkins, Jr., her husband for 63 years. Maynard passed away April 26, 2023.     

She was born December 23, 1937, in Frederick Maryland, a daughter of the late James F. and Edith Purdum Mullinix.

Mary Jane worked her full career at the Department of Energy in Germantown, Md.  She enjoyed her flowers, grooming the yard, shopping, and traveling to see her friends.

She is survived by her son Craig Watkins and his wife Dawn, and two grandsons Carl and Matt Watkins. 

There will be no visiting or calling at the funeral home. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
