Miss me, but let me go ….

When I come to the end of the road

And the sun has set for me,

I want no rites in a dark and gloomy room,

Why cry for a soul set free?

 

Miss me a little…but not very long

And not with your head bowed low.

Remember the good times we once shared,

Miss me…but let me go.

 

For this a journey which we all must take

And each must go alone.

It is a part of the Master’s plan,

A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart,

Go to the friends we know,

And bury your sorrows

In doing good deeds,

Miss me… but let me go

Friends may call Wednesday, January 11, at St. Paul’s  Catholic Church, 9240 Damascus Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872 from 10:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.  Monsignor Edward Filardi will officiate. Interment will follow in All Souls Cemetery, Germantown, Maryland 20876.
