June C. Davis

June Charm Cline Davis, age 86, of Frederick, Maryland died Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Frederick Health Hospital. She was the beloved wife of George Jacob Davis Jr.
Born July 2, 1936 in Frederick, Maryland she was a daughter of the late Norman E. Cline, Sr., and the late Zelda Ruth Hymiller Cline.

June was a graduate of Mount Airy High School, and after graduation she worked at Musser Brothers Flower Shop in Gaithersbug for many years. She loved working with flowers and making flower arrangements, she was employed there until they closed. After leaving she worked in the neighborhood helping elderly people do light house work. Then she got a job at Linganore High School working in the cafeteria serving meals to children until she retired. She played the piano in church, and after church she loved to go to her favorite restaurant and eat. June loved working in the garden planting and growing food, and picking strawberries. She was a Christian woman. Her favorite songs were How Great Thou Art, and Roses Will Bloom Again. She loved to cook and serve meals to the family. June was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved watching TV, listening to gospel songs and watch Christian Videos. She will be missed by all the family. She suffered so much. She is in Heaven now and walking down the golden street, hand in hand, singing those beautiful songs with all her loved ones.

Besides her husband George, she is survived by two sons: Donald Wayne Davis and David William Davis. Two grandchildren: Chelsey R. Davis Lowery & Kelly Lowery, Seth Alan Davis - Morris. Three great grandchildren: Addisy Lowery, Colton Lowery and Hunter Lowery, and a brother Norman Edward "Eddie" Cline and wife Juanita.
She is preceded in death by a son Kenneth Eugene Davis and daughter-in-law Penny Davis.

Friends may call at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872, Friday, April 7, from 9 a.m. until funeral services begin at 10am. Inurnment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mount Airy, Maryland.
