Born on August 11, 1948, in Washington, D.C.; he was the eldest son of Byron R. Taylor and Goldie J. Taylor. Anyone who knew Jim knew that his family was very important to him. He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Jim will be sorely missed by his family. Jim was a very hard worker who took pride in everything he did and was deeply invested in the people that he worked with. He enjoyed listening to music, playing pinball, pool and attending car shows with his wife, Kathy and their 1967 GTO.
Jim, Uncle Jimmy, Butch, Dad, Pop, will be forever be known for his generosity towards others, his ability to fix anything and everything and his humor and wit in most situations. He was truly a great man who meant so much to so many and will live on in our hearts forever.
Due to the current COVID Pandemic, there will be no visitation or viewing, burial and funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, Jim's wife, Kathy, has requested that donations in his name be made to Children's Hospital.
