James Walter Bell, 84, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2024. Born on January 31, 1940, James lived a life full of love, dedication, and kindness.

James was known for his warm heart, his unwavering integrity, and his deep commitment to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Bell, who was his steadfast partner throughout his life. Together, they built a legacy of love and shared many cherished moments.

James was predeceased by his three children, Christine Marie Bell, James Walter Bell Jr., and Carolyn Jane Bell, whom he cherished and deeply missed every day.

Throughout his life, James was a technician in the engineering department in the City of Rockville, respected by his colleagues and admired by all who knew him. He had a passion for travel, which he pursued with enthusiasm and dedication.

A memorial service to honor James's life will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, Damascus, MD. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Mount Airy, MD. In lieu of flowers, Carolyn kindly requests that donations be made to organizations that help the mentally ill.

Carolyn and the family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the caregivers, friends, and medical staff who provided unwavering support and care during James's final days.

James's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all.
