Hallie F. Kennedy

Hallie Faye Kennedy, age 91, of Ijamsville, Md. left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Frederick Health Hospital.

She was born  February 25, 1931 in Kansas and reared in Noble, Oklahoma, where she met the love of her life, Neil Kennedy.  They were married for 41 years, prior to his death.  Seeking better opportunities, they moved their family to Cabin John, Md. in 1955.  She relocated to the Frederick area in the early 1990’s.

Mrs. Kennedy was a homemaker, child-care provider, and a talented seamstress.  She raised 4 children, Faye Shivers (Don), Ijamsville, Md., Sherrie Riggs (Tom), Germantown, Md., Richard Kennedy, Bethesda, Md., and Thomas Kennedy,  Frederick, Md.,  She was very active in the lives of her 4 grandchildren:  Meredith Henning (Ben) York, Pa., Amber Kennedy (Anthony), Rolling Meadows, Il., Heather Paz (Ed), of Germantown, Md., and Keith Kennedy (Lindsay), Salt Lake City, Utah.  She was also the proud great-grandmother of Taylor Paz, Conner Henning, Tanner Henning, and Avery Elischer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Neil Kennedy, parents Floyd and Rosa Reisch, and her siblings Elizabeth Vandaveer, Bonnie Laney and John Reisch.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and staff of DaVita Ballenger Creek Dialysis Center and Frederick Health Hospital for their wonderful care.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 24 at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Md. 20872. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to:  National Kidney Foundation, Maryland Region, 11307 York Road - #232, Cockeysville, Md.  21030.
