Fares George Hassan, Abu Anthony, 54, born in Amman, Jordan and lived in Germantown, MD went home to God on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

He is survived by his mother Hind Hassan, two sons Anthony and Michael Hassan, brothers Rizek, William, Samer, and Shadi Hassan and sister Lena Haddad. He is also survived by his many beloved nephews, nieces, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, George Rizekallah Hassan.

Fares’s charisma allowed him to make friends everywhere he went; always the life of the party and always a smiling face. He’s touched many lives profoundly and will be sadly missed. His early departure has left an irreplaceable void within his family.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 29 at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 9250 Damascus Road, Damascus, Maryland.  Interment will follow in All Souls Cemetery, Brink Road, Germantown, Maryland. 

For those attending the visitation and the funeral Mass a mask or adequate face covering will be required.
