Donna Stelter Obituary

Mrs. Donna M. Stelter, 67, of Damascus, died Wednesday, Nov. 15.

Born Sept. 10, 1956 to James and Louise Custer, Donna was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, nurse, and friend to many.

Faithful and feisty, sweet and sarcastic, Donna lit up every room and made everyone laugh. She raised her three sons in Damascus and worked for more than twenty years at area nursing facilities. Whether as a charge nurse, unit manager, director of nursing, she showed tremendous compassion and respect for her patients.

Mrs. Stelter was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica, and her husband, Mark - events that informed her admirable advocacy for others. She is survived by sons Brian, Jason and Kevin; grandchildren Sunny and Story; and sisters Sharon, Jan and Jocelyn.

Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Damascus United Methodist Church. The interment will be private.

Immediately following the service, friends may gather at one of her favorite restaurants, Tom and Ray's, for a reception between 3 and 5 p.m. Donna Stelter
