Donald T. Luther

Donald Thomas Luther passed away on February 3, 2023, in Germantown, MD. He was born on March 9, 1959, in Erie, PA to John and Evelyn Luther.

For 40+ years he worked in the Hospitality field in Hotel Management, Catering Director, and General Manager for College campus dining.  He also had his own Catering company in Gaithersburg for 9 years. Don learned to cook from his mother at an early age.  He loved creating special moments for people that they would remember forever.

Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He spent every moment he could with his family. He loved Frank Sinatra, Hallmark Movies, and Diet Coke. Everywhere he went, he spread laughter, generosity, and love. You could always count on him to be there and support you through anything in life.

He is survived by his loving wife Laura, whom he was married to for 40 years. Don is also survived by his three children and their families. Kaity and her husband Mark, Chris and his wife Kat, and Evey and her husband Matt. He also leaves behind three grandchildren Natalie, Bailey, and Brady.

The viewing begins at 10: a.m. with services at 12: noon burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery., 11401 Brink Rd, Germantown, MD
