David C. Gerrold, passed away suddenly on August 30, 2024, at his home in Gaithersburg, Maryland, at age 73.  He was born July 22, 1951, in Boston, Massachusetts, and was predeceased by his parents Richard and Sydney Gerrold of Lexington, Massachusetts.

 He is survived by his wife Donna of 46 years, and son David of Salisbury, Maryland, sisters Jeanne Campbell of Wakefield, Massachusetts, Susan Alsop of Littleton, Massachusetts, and several nieces and nephews. 

David graduated from Arlington High School, Arlington, Massachusetts in 1969 and was a graduate of Northeastern University, in 1974, with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.

He came to Maryland in 1974 after graduation, and began his pharmacy career with Peoples Drug Stores, before owning Highland House Drugs in Chevy Chase, Maryland, for a few years. He then joined Giant Food in 1981 and retired from Giant several years ago.

David Was deeply loved by his family first and foremost, friends and customers, and will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
