Damien Carter Knight passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on December 5, 2023. Damien was born on April 19, 2022.  During his short 19 months here on earth, he touched so many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. His life was a gift to us that will live on as his kidneys were donated and received by those who were in need.

Damien is the son of Kassey Pitzing and Tyler Knight of Brookeville, Maryland. He is survived by his paternal grandparents Cindi and Bruce Surette of Frederick, Maryland, and Bill Knight (Cheryl) of Derwood, Maryland; and his maternal grandparents Lisa Stewart of Henderson, North Carolina, and Mark Pitzing (Angela) of Henderson, North Carolina. Great-grandmothers Barbara Wolk of Rockville, Maryland, Carolyn Pitzing and Carolyn Stewart of Henderson, North Carolina.   Damien is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872 from 6-8pm. inurnment will be private.
 

His family suggest that in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy be in the form of a Memorial Tribute to Damien C. Knight, Children’s Hospital National Medical Center, Washington, D.C, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942.
