Carvel E Harding, 83, Of Jefferson, Maryland, passed away peacefully, Friday, February 28, 2025.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janet Harding; children, Sandra Hainline (Jeff) of Jefferson, John Harding, Sr. (Brenda), of Jefferson, and Jennifer Grube (Ed) of McKenney, Virginia. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Matthew Hainline, Andrew Hainline, Katherine White, (Eric), Kristine Sims (Nick), and John Harding, Jr., and great grandchildren Brylee, Penelope, Lila, James and Nora Violet.  As well as brother Upton Harding (Connie), of Gaithersburg, brother Kenneth Harding (Carol), of Silver Spring, sister Jacqueline Harding of Gaithersburg and sister Priscilla Hansen of Walkersville.

He is preceded in death by his parents John E. Harding Sr., and Violet J. Harding; brothers John E. Harding Jr., Robert L. Harding; sisters Jean Graham, Julia Blankenship, Janet Burdette, and Lita J. Harding.

Visitation with the family will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872.  Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Forest Oak Cemetery, Gaithersburg.  Following the interment there will be a celebration of Life held at the Jefferson Ruritan, 4603 Lander Road, Jefferson 21755
