Carlin E. (Skip) Turner, 86, of Crestwood Village, beloved husband of Grace M. Turner, died suddenly Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at Autumn Lake Health Care, Frederick.

He was born July 20, 1937, in Boyds, Maryland a son of the late Maynard Lee and Pearl Fitzwater Turner.

Mr. Turner worked 24 years for Weis Markets in Gaithersburg and Damascus, and for Montgomery County Liquor Board in Rockville.

He was a member of Rockville Moose Lodge #1540 and Frederick Moose Lodge # 371.

Surviving besides his wife are daughters:  Laura and husband Hector; Lisa; Betty Shaw; and Jackie Holston and husband Jamie. Grandchildren Earl Staley, Jr. and wife Candi, April Davis and husband Steven; Adam  Holston, Alexis; Aubbra; and Brandon. Nine great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by one grandson Kevin Staley, Carolyn: Shirley, and Byron.

Friends may call Wednesday Sep. 13, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland.  Funeral services will begin 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept 14 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, Md.  20850.
