Anna Mae Wetzel, age 77, of Mount Airy, MD passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at home.

Anna is predeceased by her parents, Milburne and Lillian Lynn, her brother Raymond Green, her sister, Janet Foster, and her loving son, Bob Mulvey.

Anna retired from her career at McDonald's after over 35 years of service.
She is known by many names: Mom, Mommy, Grams, Granny, Grannycreeps, Mae, and Sis.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, George Wetzel.
Children: Jim Mulvey, Jr., Carolyn Poston, Bill (Becki) Wetzel, and Pam Wetzel.
11 grandchildren: Courtney (Jaron) Pruitt, JT /James (Mallory) Mulvey, Anna (Gavin) Slider, Ayla (John) Nikolaus, Bella Wetzel, Doug (Paige) Poston, Heather Poston, Tiffany Poston (Dede Pessu), Ryan Eisenberg, Adam Everett, and Samantha Everett. 8 great grandchildren: AG, Avery, Ariella, Jackson, Scarlet, Derrick, Emileigh, and Erica; her 3 brothers: Butch (Pat) Lynn, Bill (Barb) Lynn, and Ron Lynn.
Many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; as well as special sisters-in-law Elsie (Bill) Weistling, Debbie (Paul) Fontaine, and Violet Hopkins.

We would like to express our gratitude to Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Department for the many trips made to the house over the years and the love and never-ending support from many special people in our lives, especially John Rothen.
