Alicia Newquist, 80, of Damascus Md. passed away at her home March 1, 2023
She was born in Washington DC in 1942 to parents Champe and Margaret Thornton, and a brother CB. Alicia is survived by her husband Arthur, whom she met at University of Maryland and married three years later. They have three children: Eric, Geoff and Kate; 9 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was known to all for her Faithfulness in Jesus Christ and kindness. She was active in the church her whole life. She will be missed.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 7 at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 8 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mount Airy, Maryland.
