Addison Lewis Caracciolo, 80, of Monrovia, MD, passed away on Saturday, July 20th, 2024.
He was born on May 11, 1944, to Addison Lewis Smith and Gloria Virginia Summers Caracciolo. After graduating high school, Addison went on to serve in the Army as a sergeant and a helicopter mechanic in the 5th infantry. After serving his country, he went on to work as a Lithographer for Fawcett Printing. He earned his certification in Lithographers and Photoengravers International Union as Journeyman Craftsman in 1971. On June 11, 1987, Addison joined Pentalpha lodge #194 and achieved the title of Master Mason on September 24, 1987. He has also been a devoted member of The Eastern Star since 1991. In retirement, Addison enjoyed fishing with his friends, spending time and traveling with his wife, Margaret, and won multiple accolades with his fishing skills. Addison leaves behind his loving wife, Margaret Caracciolo, and many family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Addison’s light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
The viewing will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland, from 2 PM to 4 PM. Pentalpha Lodge # 194 AF & AM will hold memorial services 2:30 p.m. followed by Order of Eastern Star service. Funeral service will be held 10 A.M., Monday, July 29, 2024, at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 11 AM. At Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, 2938 Charles Town Road, Kearneysville, West Virginia 25430.
