Vickie Mallow Obituary

Vickie Ann (Burns) Mallow (68) passed away at her residence in Ijamsville, Maryland on Monday, September 23, 2019.  
She was the loving wife and widow of Stanley Clyde Mallow.  They shared 40 years of marriage together.  

She was born March 11, 1951 in Cumberland, Maryland a daughter of the late James and Madeline Burns.  


Vickie attended Flintstone High School and graduated in 1969, and was employed with Mechanical Contractors Association 
of America for 31 years. Her most recent position being "Director of Accounting."

Vickie was a member of a Red Hat Ladies group named the "Rubies" for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and spending time with friends, family, and her cherished grandchildren.  She will be remembered for her profound and unwavering 
love of her family and friends.  She has been a rock and the matriarch of her family for years.  She had a kind, loving and remarkably genuine soul.  Her passing will leave a hole in the world that, seemingly, will never be filled.  

She is survived by her son, Stanley (wife Kelly); brother, Jimmy (wife Sandi); grandchildren Samantha and Cody; nephew, Greg; 
stepsister, Patty (husband Kevin); stepbrothers, Tony (wife Sheri) and Patrick.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; 
father, James; mother, Madeline; sister, Roxanne; and stepbrother, John.

There will be a viewing 4 -7 p.m. Thursday, September 26th at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872.  Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 27th at the funeral home    Interment services will follow at Rocky Gap Veteran's Cemetery Chapel in Flintstone, Maryland, Friday, September 27th at 2:00 pm.   

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Vickie Mallow’s name to a charity of your choice.
