Teresa L. Walter

Teresa Louise Walter, age 60, passed away at her home in Damascus, Maryland, Friday, February 8, 2019.

Terry was born September 8, 1958, a daughter of Robert Norman Walter, and the late Norma Jill Burdette Walter of Damascus, Maryland. Terry lived in Damascus and attended church and schools in Damascus, graduating from Damascus High School in 1976. While still in high school, she started working for the Bank of Damascus. During her 42-year career, she also worked at the Damascus Community Bank and Sandy Spring Bank.

She enjoyed going to craft fairs, concerts, family functions, collecting memorabilia and doting on her beloved pets, cocker spaniels Tanner and Kody. In addition to her father, she is survived by sister Robyn Hulvey (Bruce), brother Andy Walter (Angela) and niece Ashley Walter, as well as a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 15.  A memorial service beginning at 7:30 pm, with a Gospel message and invitation to anyone who would like to share their memories of Terry.
