Robert E. Caffrey

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert E. Caffrey, 46, from Mt. Airy, Maryland announces his passing on Thursday, April 4, 2019.  Robert (Bobby) was born April 20, 1972 in Washington, D.C. and was a lifelong area resident.

Bobby is survived by his wife and best friend of 25 years, Tracy, his three children, Madeline, Brian, and Colleen, his mother, Millicent, and his siblings, Jane Applegate (William), Joseph (Stephanie), John (Andrea), Mary Price (Timothy), Patrick (Frances), Francis (Laura), Ruth, and Daniel.  He is preceded in death by his father, Noel, and his siblings Matthew, Thomas, Michael, and Anne.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Bobby enjoyed spending time at home with his family and friends, hunting, and any activity that made people laugh.  He worked as an electrician with two of his brothers. 

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April, 9 at Saint Michael Catholic Church, 1125 St. Michael’s Road, Mt. Airy, Maryland 21771.  Burial will follow in the nearby Saint Michael Catholic Cemetery.
