It is with great sadness that the family of Jannine Holden announces her passing after a brief illness – on April 29, 2018 at the age of 62.
Jannine is survived by her loving husband, Tim Holden, her son Ian Cashwell and wife Angela, and daughter Lauren Coyne and husband Mason. She had two wonderful granddaughters, Fiona and Theresa, who were the light of her life. Jannine was the eldest of seven siblings, Jacqueline, William, Barry, Phillip, Patrick and Michelle.
Tim and Jannine lived in the Damascus area since 1982, cultivating many friendships and memories. Jannine was an avid tennis fan and player. She was a part of many tennis leagues over the years, playing mostly out of the Quince Orchard Tennis Club. She was an avid reader, favoring works by James Michener and Ken Follet.
Jannine loved gardening and decorating. If there was an event or party to plan, Jannine was your girl. She loved the beach, spending time in Ocean City. Jannine was the active president of a small biotech equipment company, Avant Garde Scientific, for the last 28 years.
