Francis A. Harr, of Gaithersburg, Md., born on July 22, 1938 passed away on July 18, 2019 from a stroke. He would have been 81 years old on July 22, 2019.

He was predeceased by his parents Francis O. Harr and Dorothy Nebel Harr. He is survived by his wife of 54 years of marriage, Laura F. Harr and his five (5) children.  Elaine Harr Jones, Stephen L. Harr, (wife Cheri Harr), Laura Harr Granger (husband Drew Granger), Jonathan Harr (wife Soledad Harr) and Michael Harr (wife Maria Harr) and his eleven (11) grandchildren.  Michelle Harr, Mary Bloss, (husband Fred Bloss) Bobby Jones, Tabitha, Celestia, Stephen Jr. Ava and Conner Harr, Alexander Harr, Benjamin and Nicolas Harr And one (1) great granddaughter Camryn L Claggett.

 His 3 brothers and 2 sisters; Robert Harr, Dianne Harr Avery, Susan Harr Collison, Timothy Harr and Thomas Harr and their spouses and 17 nieces and nephews. He served in the Navy for 6 years and the Army MAP service for several years.

 He worked for Montgomery County Maryland Government, Department of Transportation as an Engineer Tech III until he retired. He also owned Abonmarche Limousine Service.

  Francis will be greatly missed by many of his family members and friends. He was a social and active man who was always involved with the church and its community. He also enjoyed talking, telling stories and spending time with his loved ones. He will be remembered by his family as a kind and loving Husband, Father, Brother ,Grandfather and Great Grandfather.

  Visitation will be held at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home located at 26401 Ridge Road Damascus, MD 20872 on Friday, July 26th, 2019 at 3-5 PM & 7-9 PM.

A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church Damascus located at 8850 Damascus, MD 20872 on Saturday, July 27th, 2019 at 1:15 PM

.Burial will follow the funeral at Mt. Lebanon Fellowship Church located at 8115 Damascus Road Gaithersburg, MD 20882.

  The family will be greeting friends and relatives at Damascus Grace Fellowship Church located at 8425 Damascus Road Damascus, MD 20872 on Saturday, July 27th.immediatly following the burial.
