Elizabeth A. Ridgely

Elizabeth (Libby) Anne Ridgely, age 67, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 in the caring and loving facility at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Frederick, MD on July 6, 1950 to Mary Elizabeth Green and to the late Garry Leonard Duvall. Libby was a caring, compassionate homemaker and devoted her life to her family and taking care of others, as well as animals. Libby is preceded in death by her father and her daughter, Lori Ann Ridgely. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leonard Ridgely Sr., and two sons, Lenny Ridgely, Jr. and wife Lori, Kenny Ridgely and wife Jennifer and daughter Linda Anders and husband Scott. Libby is survived by eight grandchildren, Candice, Leo, Devin, Faith, Kayla, Jesse, K.C. and Sammy, as well as two great grandchildren, Evelynne and Corbin. She is also survived by sisters Dianne White, Maryann Scott, Hellen Mercer, Pam Kaczynski, Evelyn, Melissa, Lillian and brothers Charles, John, Paul, Greg, and Garry Duvall Jr., and Gary and James Fauble.

Viewing times will be Thursday, February 22,  from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Molesworth Williams P.A. Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, MD. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23rd, 2018 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Prospect United Methodist  Cemetery in Mt. Airy.

The Ridgely family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, especially those in the ICU unit, sixth floor, as well as the staff at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD for their attentiveness and loving care.
