Della Mae Beall Doolin, 87, passed from this life Saturday, October 7, 2017 at her home in Lewisdale, Maryland, after an extended illness.  She was the wife of the late Gideon Doolin, Sr.

She was born on Mothers Day, May 11, 1930 a daughter of the late Marshall and Zerah Shipley  Beall.

Della was a Graduate of Damascus High School, Class of 1948, she retired from the Montgomery County Board of Education, and was a long standing member of Damascus Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her children:   Ruth (Larry), Esther, Martha and Gideon, Jr.; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great grandchild;  brothers, Raymond, Jerry (Cheryl), and sisters, Mary (John), Eileen (Dick), and sister-in-law Jane, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Besides her husband and parents she is preceded in death by brothers Ralph and Dallas Beall, brother-in-law Lee Ballew, and sister-in-law Marie Beall.

The family gives special thanks to Della’s caregiver Nicole Weaver for her loving and devoted care.

Friends may call 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday, October 12 at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 13 at Difference Maker Church, 11210 Bethesda Church Road, Damascus, Maryland  20872, Reverend Jerry Beall, her brother, will officiate.  Interment will immediately follow in Bethesda Methodist Cemetery, Browningsville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sons of Thunder, Post Office Box 7, Damascus, Maryland 20872
