Sandra Lee Camman of Gaithersburg passed away on Sunday March 26, 2017 at her home. Born January 17, 1951 in Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Eugene Gordon Whiteman and Mary Elizabeth Trunick.  She is survived by her sister Carol Cushing and brother Gordon Whiteman and daughter Gina Camman and granddaughter Tara Blackwood. She worked for NIH for 25 years, she loved her garden and nature. She was easy going and everyone who met her was touched by her in some way, she was strong, proud and independent who never really listened to the “Norms” of society she made her own path and saw beauty in everything.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017at Molesworth-Williams P.A. Funeral Home 26401 Ridge Road Damascus, Md. Inurnment will be private.
