Mr. Donald Carlton Mobley, 78, of Monrovia, Md.  died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mildred V. Mobley

Born December 11, 1937, at Germantown, he was a son of the late Samuel H and Ester Martin Mobley.

Mr. Mobley was retired from a career as a bookbinder with Holiday Tyler.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Green Valley.

Surviving are his two daughters Shirley A. Smith of Charles Town, WV and Mary S. Lee of Knoxville, MD; three granddaughters, Katrina M. Shaffer, Ashlee V. Nath and Jessica N. Lee; one grandson, Samuel J. Smith, one great grandson Rowan J. Nath. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Alvin Mobley and his sister Hattie Mae Thompson.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm, Monday, October 24 at Molesworth-Williams P.A. Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 25 at the funeral home.  The Rev. Michael Yoho will officiate.

Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville.
