David A. Sauder, age 53, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, passed away peacefully following a brief illness, on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. He was happily married to his wife Karin (Allen) for 18 years. He is survived by his wife, a son Joel 13, and daughter, Kristen 11. He was preceded in death by a son, Zachary in 2006.

David was a man who valued faith and family above all else. He will be remembered for his warm and generous spirit, sense of humor, sociability and love for adventure. David was a self-employed software engineer and private contractor. He was an active member of Cedar Brook Community Church, serving as a keyboardist on the worship team for many years.

Other survivors include his parents Wayne and Marilyn of Fort Washington, Maryland; 3 brothers, Dean (Jill), Doug (Charlotte), Philip, and a sister Brenda (Dale) Musser. David was also a proud and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Monday, September 19 at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20 at Cedarbrook Community Church, 23700 Stringtown Road, Clarksburg, Maryland.  Interment will follow in All Souls Cemetery, Germantown. Maryland.
