Catherine Lucille Heffner, age 78, of Mount Airy, Maryland died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

Born June 11, 1938, in Ware, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred H. and Elizabeth M. Johnson.

Catherine was a school bus driver for over 34 years for the Montgomery County Public School System.

Surviving her are two sons:  Shearl Dennis Flannery of Mount Airy and Charles Edward Flannery of Maryland; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; other family and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her son Roy Lee Flannery, and a brother Leslie A. Johnson.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 22, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday May 23, at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, Maryland.
