Anna Mae Zeigler, 79, of Damascus, Maryland passed away July 18, 2016, at Northampton Manor in Frederick. She was born August 13, 1936, in Montgomery County, to the late Charles T. "Joe" Zeigler Sr and Allie E. Zeigler.

She was the third of 8 children. Anna was a life-long member of Pleasant Grove Christian Community Church in Damascus.  Anna worked for the American Red Cross in Rockville MD for 16 years.  Those left to cherish her memory are son, Larry Zeigler and wife, Lisa of Cambridge, MD; sisters, Joyce Zeigler and Frances Zeigler of Frederick, Evelyn Watson and husband Sylvester  of Los Angeles and Kathie Hackey-Dorsey of Germantown; brothers, Charles Zeigler of Frederick and John (Mike) Zeigler and wife, Cyndie of Delaware;  2 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she truly loved. In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret.; sister Nellie Zeigler; brother, William Zeigler.  

A celebration of Anna's life will be held Saturday, July 30, at 11:00am at Pleasant Grove Christian Community Church, 11225 Mountain View Rd, Damascus. The Rev. Lawrence Bryant will officiate. Prior to the service family will receive friends at 10:30am.
