Mrs. Anna Mae Senseney, 93, of Damascus, Maryland, died Saturday, October 15, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Senseney who died in 2007.

Born February 21, 1923 in Monrovia, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Leonard F. and Annie L. Burke.

She was a graduate of Frederick High School class of 1940.  She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years of service at the Damascus Post Office.  Anna Mae was also a long-time member of the Damascus American Legion Auxillary; and she was a member of Providence United Methodist Church in Kemptown for many years.  She enjoyed playing cards with friends, bowling, and playing bingo, also traveling, and she experienced many wonderful trips and destinations especially her many annual trips to Aruba.

Surviving are her three sons:  Greg and his wife Brenda of Knoxville; Bob and his wife Gail of Green Valley; and Lenny of Damascus.  Also survived by grandchildren:  Derek and his wife Mary of South Carolina;  Erin and husband Ryan of Frederick; and Jennifer Senseney of Frederick, Three great grandchildren: Brayson and Jace Senseney of South Carolina and Lucas Sheehan of Frederick; one sister Madeline Darby of Frederick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Anna Mae was preceded in death by one granddaughter Amy Senseney, a sister Lillian Mullinix and a brother Luther Burke.

Friends may visit with her family at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872 on Thursday, October 20, from 10:00 a.m. until funeral services begin at 11:00 a.m. Reverend D.D. Adams of  Providence United Methodist Church will officiate.  Interment will follow in Montgomery Methodist Cemetery, Damascus, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Damascus American Legion Baseball Program, P.O. Box 171, Damascus, Maryland 20872 or Providence United Methodist Church 3725 Kemptown Church Road, Monrovia, Maryland  21770.
