Alyssa Mae Honaker, 17, of Frederick, Maryland passed away suddenly at her home Saturday, June 4, 2016. Born August 25, 1998, in Frederick, Maryland, she is the daughter of Jeffrey Honaker and Shannon Stanley.

In addition to her parents, Alyssa is survived by her stepfather, Michael Stanley, stepmother, Linda Honaker, sisters Tori and Jenna Stanley, brother Jeffrey Honaker, Jr., stepsister Taylor Shaw, paternal grandparents Larry and Kathleen Honaker, maternal grandparents Ronald and Gwynn Kersh, Late maternal grandmother Norma Knight, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Alyssa was especially close with her cousin Kenny Honaker, Jr.

Alyssa will be remembered for her sense of humor, her kindness and her compassion and caring ways towards others.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Molesworth-Williams P.A. Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Md. 20872.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, at Damascus United Methodist Church, 9700 New Church Street, Damascus, Md. 20872. Interment will follow at Mountain View Methodist Church Cemetery, 1150I Mountain View Road, Damascus, Md. 20872.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Mountain View United Methodist Church, 11501 Mountain View Road, Damascus, Md. 20872.
